Still such fun
Mika and Danny both got strep - now Mika and I are fighting off parainfluenza. Whee!
I forgot to note when Mika starting doing somersaults properly on her own, but she does!
Declan clearly spoke the words "Good night Dada" on Tuesday night. Thanks to Mika, he also loves to scream "MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!" - trying to get a lid on that, so far, not so good.
Mika has issues with a girl in her group at daycare/preschool. The girl is a year older and likes to tell Mika that she is a baby and that she is little or that she is bad. Mika has started incessantly tattling on her brother and uses the most annoying voice to do so. We've been trying to cut that out too. I finally asked her where she learned to talk like that and she said that is how this girl talks at school all the time. GAH!
_______________
The above post has been sitting in my drafts forever and a day, it seems. ANYWAY - Spoke to the daycare about the bully girl - unsatisfactory results. The daycare staff half admitted that the girl is a pain in the neck, but also said that Mika was likely making up stories. Argh! Mika's made-up stories do not cause her obvious distress each day.
Gotta run - time for work.
