The photo was taken not far from where I live. Was Iowa not cold enough for your relatives so they decided to head farther north? ;) Of course, my husband is from Norway/Sweden and he thinks Iowa i much colder than Norway.
Anyhow, I hope Mika is feeling better! My kids went through the same thing with daycare - they were sick constantly for the first 18-20 months and then gradually got sick less frequently. I wanted to avoid tubes (though I have nothing against them) so they were on antibiotics for what seemed like forever. Now, they get sick far less than their peers. In fact, I've had more colds (and more severe) then they have this last year.
Hang in there, it will get better! I feel for you - it's so hard feeling so helpless when your little one is sick with one thing after another. It's just not fair!!!
